FBC Indi Episode 41 — Champions and Chumpions

Tonight, we review the Verizon IndyCar Race race at the beautiful and historic Watkins Glen International. Team Penske showed a rare moment of weakness as they struggled with setup all weekend long, and especially during the race. Scott Dixon drove like a champion, while points leader Josef Newgarden drove like a chumpion. Meanwhile Alexander Rossi demonstrated that he is ready and able to assume the lead driver role at Andretti Autosport.

Three series titles were decided this weekend for the Mazda Road to Indy and we congratulate all three champions for USF2000, Pro Mazda, and Indy Lights.

Episode #102

With Dre taking a week off, RJ O’Connell, Ryan King and Zoe Hamilton take control for Episode 102 of Motorsport 101 (Dre’s absence has NOTHING to do with Ferrari fluffing their lines at Monza, honestly).

On this week’s show we look back on the Italian Grand Prix as Lewis Hamilton took Michael Schumacher’s all-time pole record, as well as Sebastian Vettel’s championship lead. We also look at the other big stories as Daniel Ricciardo produced his customary Monza divebomb at Kimi Raikkonen’s expense

The IndyCar Grand Prix at the Glen is also covered as Alexander Rossi returned to winning ways and Josef Newgarden went full-David Coulthard by crashing into the pitwall, blowing the title race wide open!
