It’s amazing how the BTCC season marches on…after Rockingham, just tow more meetings before we know the 2017 champion. A few weeks after the halfway point of the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship Season was reached at Croft Circuit, Matt James and Alan Hyde catch up with what was a very unusual weekend in the north east. A one in a million accident in qualifying resulted in three drivers remaining in hospital, and TTT catches up with the recovery of all three, and talks to the chief medic and chief scrutineer. Dr Paul Trafford, Luke Davenport, Aron Smith, Peter Riches, Anthony Reid, Oly Collins and Chris Smiley all drop in for what becomes the feel good show of the season, with recoveries progressing very well.
